Kiyoko F. Aoki-Kinoshita: Professor, Soka University
Kiyoko F. Aoki-Kinoshita completed her PhD in computer science at Northwestern University and continued her career at Kyoto University and then Soka University. She is a member of the Department of Information Systems Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, at Soka University, Japan, and has been actively engaged in the development of several resources of significant importance to glycoinformatics.
Abstract
Prof. Kiyoko F. Aoki-Kinoshita introduces the portals and resources of the glycoinformatics world, several of which she has helped develop. Glycoinformatics is a newly emerging field and remains open to development: this webinar covers the databases and repositories available, how to use them efficiently, and which other fields they can be combined with. A practical demonstration is carried out through the session. Researchers interested in multi-omics, glycomics and bioinformatics will find the most use in it.
